Anson's Pack Up More About Us! More More About Us!

Your host!Yep, just a few months ago Annie and Anson brought home a brand new six-week old puppy! He's a Chihuahua named Pepé (except everybody calls him Peppy)! And boy does he turn everything upside down! Especially me!

pepe1(scaled).JPG (12042 bytes)Doesn't look like much, does he? Well, this was Pepé the Chihuahua the day he joined Anson's pack. He was plain tired out and didn't really know what was going on!pepe6(scaled).JPG (16301 bytes)

I liked him right away (and don't anybody tell him what I did to that other Chihuahua that fooled me!). He wasn't any bigger than the remote control for the TV, see?

But he and I play together all the time! Sometimes people think I'm gonna bite his head off, but we're really just having fun! He jumps on me and nips at my mouth, and I snarl and act mad but I'm really having a good time with him!

But it's really wild to see him learn something -- everything's new to him! Like getting off the couch. Now that was a big deal for him at first. He always acted like it was Mt. Everest or something. At least until he got used to it.

Now Pepé the Chihuahua is becoming a young dog and he's really showing his stuff! He gets really excited when we're playing and runs pel-mel like some sort of crazy-dog around me and the furniture! I guess he gets his exercise that way, but I just get dizzy.

pepe et al020805(scaled).jpg (16104 bytes)You know the old saying "Work hard, play hard"? Well, that must be Pepé's code! Except with him it's "Sleep hard, play hard" (then eat, I say)!

And he just loves all his stuffed animals (especially a certain sky-blue bunny rabbit, but we don't talk about that!). In fact he'll carry them all into whatever room everyone else is sitting in and then he leaves them all over the place.

Like I said before, everything's new to Pepé. Just the other day he noticed a plane flying over the house. He stopped dead still and watched it until it went behind some clouds. Can you imagine a little five-pound dog watching airplanes fly over him? I figure if you can't catch it and eat it, it's not worth bothering with.
